Job description
Job TitleCore duties and responsibilitiesAssembly and machine operation: Operate various manufacturing equipment, which may include welders, presses, and material conveyors, to assemble automotive body panels and sub-assemblies.Quality control: Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure they conform to specifications. Communicate any abnormal or defective materials to a team leader.Data and documentation: Complete all necessary reporting, such as production logs and quality checks, often using computer-based systems.Continuous improvement: Suggest changes to equipment or processes to improve efficiency and quality. Contribute to lean manufacturing activities.Maintenance and upkeep: Keep the work area and equipment clean and orderly.
