Production Operator – Overnight ShiftPay: $20 per hour Location: Alachua, Florida Schedule: Rotating 2-2-3 overnight schedule, 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. Employment Type: Full-time, temp-to-hireExpress Employment Professionals is recruiting Production Operators for an established manufacturing company in Alachua. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing operation offering competitive pay, a consistent schedule and an exceptional benefits package after permanent hire.ScheduleEmployees work 12-hour overnight shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. This schedule provides regular days off during the week and every other weekend off.A typical two-week rotation includes:Work two daysOff two daysWork three daysOff two daysWork two daysOff three daysResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor manufacturing and production equipmentLoad materials and assist with the movement of finished productsInspect products for quality, measurements and visible defectsMonitor equipment and report mechanical or production problemsAssist with equipment setup, changeovers and routine adjustmentsPackage, stack, palletize or prepare finished products for movementMaintain accurate production and quality recordsKeep the assigned work area clean, organized and free of hazardsFollow all safety, quality and production proceduresWork cooperatively with machine operators, maintenance personnel and supervisorsQualificationsPrevious manufacturing, production or machine-operation experience is preferredMechanical aptitude and the ability to learn industrial equipmentDependable attendance and reliable transportationAbility to work a rotating 12-hour overnight scheduleAbility to remain on your feet for extended periodsAbility to lift and move materials safely throughout the shiftStrong attention to safety, quality and detailWillingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsCompensation and BenefitsThe position starts at $20 per hour.
