We have created an environment that encourages an uninterrupted flow of revolutionary concepts and unique ideas.We are currently seeking general Operators and Assemblers to join our busy St. Clair Shores, Michigan production team.Candidates should be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and available for overtime and weekends as required.ResponsibilitiesAssembly OperatorsPerform assembly tasks such as fitting, fastening, and installing parts and components according to work instructions.Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to complete tasks efficiently.Assemble automotive parts, sub-assemblies, in a timely manner to meet production targets.Inspect parts and components for defects or damage before and after assembly.Ensure that all assembled products meet quality standards and specifications.Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment, such as cleaning and lubricating.Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth production flow.Suggest improvements to assembly processes to enhance efficiency and quality.Complete production logs and reports accurately and on time.Welding OperatorsOperate robotic welding systems to perform welding tasks, such as MIG (Metal Inert Gas), spot welding, or laser welding, on automotive parts and components.Monitor robotic welding processes to ensure consistent quality and adherence to standards.Inspect welded joints and components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.Identify and correct defects, such as cracks, porosity, or incomplete fusion, in welded parts.Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.Perform routine maintenance on robotic welding systems, such as cleaning, replacing consumables (e.g., welding wire, nozzles), and checking for wear and tears.Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues with robotic welding equipment.Ensure proper alignment and fit-up of parts before welding.Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth production flow.Complete production logs and welding reports accurately and on time.RequirementsNo experience necessaryAbility to follow established proceduresStrong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilityKnowledge of IATF16949 quality standards and ISO14001Manual dexterity sufficient to assemble, pack, and/or grip and operate hand toolsCommunication skills to communicate and interact with all levels of employeesComputer literacy skills include the ability to perform basic data entry and to operate visual 'touch screen' display panelsMath skills sufficient to perform department related tasks are requiredAbility to work effectively with peopleSafety glasses are required – additional equipment required as neededWorking environment and physical requirements of this position are those typical of a manufacturing environment.Frequent visual effort and concentrationAbility to move throughout the plant.Ability to lift 40 pounds is required.Regular standing, moving about, and involves a variety of physical activitiesIf you are interested in a growth-oriented culture and great people, we want to hear from you!
