Job description
Masonry & Hardscapes Plant Operator7am- 3:30pm M-F, Saturdays as needed.Job Summary – This position is responsible for the operation of automated production machinery as needed in our masonry & hardscapes plant.Job Responsibilities:Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirementFill material bins as needed to meet daily production schedulesPerform routine machine maintenanceStartup machinery for daily productionMake sure all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned areasOther duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as neededAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to be a self-starter and work independentlyAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimalsHave the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram formMaintain a high level of accuracy in all aspects of work assignmentsDemonstrated ability to operate a front-end loaderWhile performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of timeMust have the ability to lift and/or move up to 70 lbsAble to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed**Must be able to pass drug test and federal background check.
