Job description
Encapsulation Machine OperatorAn Encapsulation Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining encapsulation equipment used in the production of capsules. The operator ensures capsules are manufactured according to quality standards, production schedules, and safety requirements. Key duties include preparing materials, adjusting machine settings, performing in-process quality checks, documenting production activities, troubleshooting minor equipment issues, and following GMP, SOP, and safety procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesProduces and inspects the quality of productsOperates and monitors production equipmentInspects, sets up, and cleans equipmentCleans production roomsCompletes paperwork, performs computer input, and returns recordsOther duties as assignedQualificationsFour years of high school plus specific course requirementsKnowledge of weights and measurements (i.e. metric system)RedZone and OracleSkill in operating process equipmentBasic math skillsGeneral computer skills helpfulAble to monitor process equipment and keep accurate recordsManeuver heavy weightsPrioritize multiple assignmentsMust have good hand-eye coordinationAble to communicate well with coworkers on all shifts and to work effectively in a team environmentNature's Sunshine is dedicated to being a Force of Nature that champions social and environmental wellness.
