Production OperatorOperator IILocation: Gurnee, ILJob Type: Full-TimePay Rate: $17-19 per hour, based on experience and qualificationsJob Summary: The Operator II is an advanced operator capable of being assigned to any work center within the facility and successfully operating the equipment. This role supports safe, efficient production and ensures compliance with company and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Perform duties of Operator roles, including:Visually monitoring the molding processPacking parts from injection molding and assembly machinesInspecting product quality and packaging to ensure specifications are metLifting and carrying totes, and packing in accordance with weight or countChange and stock materials at machines (bags, daily supplies, etc.)Collaborate with Operator III to maintain safe and efficient productionRead, comprehend, and adhere to company policies, as well as FDA, OSHA, and other regulatory standardsInterpret and follow instructions and written proceduresSupport company safety and quality programs and initiativesPerform other duties as assigned, based on departmental needsJob Specifications:Minimum 2–3 years experience in a manufacturing role within a similar industry/environmentFamiliarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Work Instructions, and Product SpecificationsAbility to lift up to 25 poundsAbility to walk and stand for long periodsProficient in reading and writing English; able to interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsExperience using scale, tape gun, and pallet jackProficient with computers, including SAP and Microsoft OutlookBenefits:Competitive compensationHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offRetirement plan optionsOpportunities for growth and advancement
