Production Operator ILocation: 3000 Skyline Dr, Mesquite, TX (Onsite)Employment Type: Full-time, W2Contract Duration: 12 monthsPay Rate: $17.00/hour + $0.75/hour night shift differentialSchedule: 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)Work Environment: Temperature-controlled manufacturing facilityAbout the Company: Our client is a vertically integrated solar manufacturer producing ingots, wafers, cells, solar modules (panels), and custom-designed solar power applications. They supply high-quality solar products to customers worldwide, and their team works closely with each customer to deliver solutions for all of their solar needs.Position Summary: The Production Operator I performs hands-on work in a manufacturing plant, using a variety of hand and power tools to support efficient, high-quality production. This role follows established procedures and all safety protocols and workplace policies to keep operations safe and productive.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect final assemblies for finish, labeling, and packaging complianceVerify mechanical dimensions and perform go/no-go electrical testsIdentify, mark, and segregate acceptable and defective assembliesCollect, record, and summarize inspection and test resultsComplete manual assembly, cleaning, testing, and inspection tasks according to work instructionsPrepare, sort, load, and unload materials for machines and manual workstationsOperate and monitor automated assembly equipment, including robotic and fixed automation systemsConduct cosmetic and functional inspections, and mark, record, and report any defectsClean and prepare work areas, workstations, and equipmentWork with equipment operators to support machine alignment, movement, adjustment, and material handlingCarry out all work with the highest ethical standardsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications Required:High school diploma or equivalent0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to work a Continental Shift (12-hour days or nights)Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPreferred:Knowledge of workplace safetyFirst Aid and CPR certificationWhy Apply?Steady full-time hours on a 12-month assignmentExtra pay for night shiftsComfortable, temperature-controlled work environmentHands-on experience with robotic and automated manufacturing equipment in the growing solar energy industryEntry-level friendly, with no prior experience requiredEmployment & EEO Information: This is a W2 contract position.
