Production Operator IIMachine Operator – Ground Bar Location: Grayslake, IL Pay Rate: $20.90 per hour Schedule: 2nd shift (2:30PM – 11:00PM); training on 1st shift for a few weeksDuties and Responsibilities:Set up and operate various machines and assemble parts as directed by Cell LeadRead and interpret bills of materials and blueprintsCommunicate with Cell Lead about discrepancies on drawings or BOMWork closely with Quality Department on inspections and verifying specificationsOperate air and power tools to support productionMaintain productivity to meet/exceed standardsFollow all safety rules and proceduresKeep tools and supplies organized and work area cleanPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:High School diploma or equivalentTwo or more years of machine operator experienceAptitude for math, problem-solving, and computers (including Excel)Ability to read blueprints/drawingsMechanical aptitudeProficiency with air/power tools, micrometers, calipers, rulers, tape measures, gagesAbility to work independentlyPhysical requirements: continuous standing, moving, reaching, frequent walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbsShop environment: exposure to noise, dust, and odorsIf you are interested in this opportunity, please apply with your most up to date resume.
