Job description
Production OperatorOx Engineered is looking for an experienced Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain various types of machinery used in our production process. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.Pay: $19/hrWhat You'll Accomplish:Operate and monitor production machinery in accordance with company standards and safety guidelinesPerform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and make minor repairs to equipmentRead and interpret production work orders for size/print of finished materialAdjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and efficientlyConduct quality checks and ensure finished products meet specificationsMaintain a clean and organized work areaRecord production data and report any issues to the supervisorDrive forklift to stack/unstack and move products and materialsFollow safe work practices and maintain a working knowledge of first aid and emergency proceduresWhat We're Looking For:Education: High school diploma or GED; technical training or certifications a plusRequired Work Experience: Manufacturing experience is highly preferred, 2+ years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environmentProven experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing or industrial environmentAbility to operate a variety of machinery (Printing press, rewinders, forklift, powered pallet jack, floor scrubber)Problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitudeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to work different shifts if necessaryAdditional Requirements:Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE")Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit testsWhat We Offer:Competitive salaryRetirement Savings: Choose from 401(k) pre-tax and/or Roth after-tax savingsEmployee Stock Purchase PlanMedical, Dental, Disability and Life InsuranceHolistic Health & Well-being programsHealth Savings Accounts (HSAs) & Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) for health and dependent careVision and other Voluntary benefits and discountsPaid time off & paid holidaysPaid Parental Leave (maternity & paternity)Educational Assistance ProgramAmrize is an equal opportunity employer.
