Job description
Production OperatorWe are actively recruiting for a Production Operator for a manufacturing company in Leominster MA. The Production Operator is responsible for performing a variety of operations in the manufacturing of Thermoplastics concentrates and compounds such as machine operation, blending and packaging. Responsibilities include:Pull and blend raw materials for processing; Move raw materials from warehouse to manufacturing areaAccurate measurement of raw material ingredientsOperate various compounding linesMonitor machine productionPrepare packaging materials for shipmentOperate and clean equipmentOperate rider-type industrial forklift (will train)Requirements:At least 2 years of manufacturing experience preferredForklift experience preferredGood mechanical aptitude preferredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Benefits Offered: Health Insurance, Dental insurance, 401(K) Match up to 4%, Short-Term Disability, Life Insurance, 80 Hours of Paid Vacation Time, 57 Hours Paid Sick Time, 8 Hours Paid Birthday, 9 Paid Holidays, Paid Bereavement Time, Long-Term Disability, Voluntary Life Insurance, and moreHours are Mon-Thurs 7:00am - 5:00pm, Fri: 7:00am-4:00pm The pay rate is $19/hr with increase to $20/hr after 6 months.
