Job description
Production Operator, Module OperationsAs a Production Operator I, you will operate your assigned position or task safely and efficiently to optimally produce quality work. This may include the placement and testing of electrical components, cleaning of finished products, or loading of raw materials into machines.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate automatic and semi-automatic machines according to position Standard Work Instructions (SWI)Clean and prepare workstation and machines.Assemble and test components and ensure adherence to specified requirements.Perform simple electrical and continuity testing of electronic components, parts, and systems.Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies.Check final assembly for finish, labelling, and packaging methods.Complete other tasks as required and/or directed.Maintain compliance with established policies and procedures.SkillsHand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, ability to distinguish between colors.Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions in English.Basic computer literacySoldering experience is an asset.TraitsCoachable and willing to learn.Punctual and dependableTeam and customer oriented.Attention to detail.Problem Solving.Ability to lift objects less than 25 pounds and team lift objects approximately 60 pounds.Able to stand, walk and work on feet for 8+ hours.Education and/or ExperienceHigh School Diploma or EquivalentProduction experience preferredCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive Market WagesPaid Time Off (vacation, sick, and holiday)Employee Assistance ProgramMedical/Dental/Vision Insurance PlansTuition Reimbursement ProgramEmployee Recognition ProgramsEmployee PV Panel Purchase ProgramSilfab Solar is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace.
