Production Operator / Packaging AssociateLocation: Columbus, NE 68601Duration: 12 Months (possible extension)Shift: A Shift — 6:00 AM–6:00 PM Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends Rotation: 3 days on / 2 days off / 2 days on / 3 days offPay Rate: $20.00/hr on W2Job RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassistedPrevious manufacturing experience preferredMust be fluent in English, both written and verbalMust be able to read, write, interpret, and comprehend English instructionsMust be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environmentMust be able to work flexible/extended hours and maintain regular, punctual attendanceMust be able to work effectively in a team environmentDrug screening is not requiredJob ResponsibilitiesPerform routine production activities including:FillingUtility operationsPacking and packagingAssemblyLabelingInspectionLabel packages and boxes accuratelyBag and package products/materialsPlace materials into appropriate packages and boxesFollow standard operating procedures and work instructionsMaintain accurate production records and logs in accordance with FDA, GMP, and ISO 9000 requirementsPerform basic math calculations as requiredRotate between different production tasks and responsibilities as neededFollow instructions and make routine decisions within established proceduresMaintain quality and safety standards throughout the production processWork effectively with coworkers, Team Leads, and SupervisorsExperience1–2 years of experience preferredManufacturing or production experience will receive first preferenceCandidates should have basic knowledge of production processes, techniques, and proceduresAbility to learn and perform routine tasks following prescribed stepsIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable of handling up to 50 lbs., comfortable working 12-hour rotating shifts in a non-climate-controlled environment, and has previous manufacturing or production experience.
