Production OperatorsAvantor is a trusted supplier to mining and assay laboratories worldwide. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for Production Operators to join our team in Sparks, Nevada. In this role, you’ll help produce and package cupels small, porous containers used to separate precious metals like gold and silver from base metals. If you’re someone who enjoys staying active and working with your hands, this could be a great fit.What you’ll be doing:Set up, operate, and clean production equipmentInspect products and monitor machines during productionPackage finished goods and maintain accurate recordsFollow safety procedures and keep work area clean and organizedReport equipment issues, material defects, or safety concerns to the supervisorMeet production goals for quality and efficiencyAssist with inventory counts and general site maintenanceSupport other tasks as neededWhat we’re looking for:No experience necessary we’ll train you!Basic English skills (written and verbal)Ability to follow instructions and shift priorities quicklyReliable, punctual, and positive attitudeHigh school diploma or GED is a plusOSHA Forklift and/or HAZMAT certification is a plusComfortable with basic computer tasks and simple mathTeam player with a strong focus on safety and qualityPrevious production or warehouse experience is a bonusWork Environment & Physical Requirements:Active, hands-on role in a busy production areaExposed to noise, dust, non-hazardous chemicals, and moving machinerySafety gear providedFrequent standing, walking, and lifting (up to 25 lbs)Repetitive hand and foot movementsGood vision required for close-up and peripheral tasksSkills/Experience: Required Skills: Desired Skills: Degree Requirement: Certification Requirements: EEO: Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of – Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans.
