Night Shift Hourly Production OperatorVitro has openings for Night Shift Hourly Production Operators at its Tipton facility. There are a limited number of openings. Apply today!What You Will DoMake mechanical changes and adjustments to line equipment and operate all automation equipment. Plan and address daily production needs. Ensure quality production to meet customer specifications. Make quality checks and document completed checks as required. Maintain line cleanliness, including proper storage of tools, emptying trash and getting full trash hoppers dumped. Accurate and timely reporting of daily production information into the appropriate forms and/or databases. Assign and direct personnel on pattern changes and short periods of downtime. Inspect and pack glass as needed into designated racks. Report all unsafe equipment and/or conditions. Maintain operations at highest standards set forth by PGW's customers, production, and quality departments.What We OfferStarting rate $21.27/hr. $0.50 Shift differential for Night Shift 12 hour shifts rotating days (3 days one week and 4 days the next). Regular performance reviews with opportunities for growth and movement within company. At least two weekends off per month according to rotation. Guaranteed pay increases every 6 months for the first 3 years. Paid lunch breaks.What We Need From YouMechanical ability.Adequate computer skillsMust be willing to assist in other roles as called upon or needed.Previous experience driving fork truck, preferred but not requiredAt least one-year previous manufacturing experience preferred.Physical Requirements and Safety:Perform duties within normal manufacturing environmental conditions.Must be able to climb stairs, push/pull, grip to use hand tools, reach, see, hear and speak.Must be able to be on your feet, 12 hour shiftsMust be able to inspect and pack glassMust be able work in warm conditions.Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and with assistance, above 50 pounds.Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.Must follow posted security procedures at all times while in the building.Must follow all Personal Protective Equipment requirements.
