Job description

Manufacturing Production OperatorBridgestone seeks energetic and motivated individuals to join their manufacturing team in Wilson, NC. As a Manufacturing Production Operator, you will operate various machine, chemical, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting and problem-solving.Responsibilities:Set-up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing production equipmentMove, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goodsMonitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty productsMaintain accurate daily production recordsOther duties as assignedSchedule: Full-time, rotating 12-hour, day/night shiftwork. 2-week rotations. Scheduled to work 14 out of 28 calendar days.Day ScheduleWeek 1: 7am – 7:30 pm, 2 days on, 2 days off (36 hours regular pay)Week 2: 7am – 7:30 pm, 3 days on, 2 days off (40 hours regular pay and 8 OT pay)Night ScheduleWeek 1: 7pm – 7:30 am, 2 days on, 2 days off (36 hours regular pay)Week 2: 7pm – 7:30 am, 3 days on, 2 days off (40 hours regular pay and 8 OT pay)Wage: Starting wage is $24.00 per hour with opportunities to earn $32.75 per hour within 2 years and $33.12 within 5 years.Benefits: Bridgestone offers an outstanding benefits package available starting day one, including best in class 401(k) plan with a 4% company match, Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, and paid vacation and holidays.Minimum Qualifications:Must be willing and have the ability to work rotating 12 hour shiftsMust be willing and have the ability to operate multiple pieces of equipmentMust be willing and have the ability to troubleshoot and problem solvePreferred Qualifications:2 years of previous industrial/manufacturing/maintenance experience and 2 years of stable work historyAt Bridgestone, you are Free to BeWe believe people can only provide superior service and quality to others when they feel safe bringing their chosen version of themselves to work.
