Job description
Job TitleMajor Job Duties And Responsibilities (List In Order Of Importance)Monitors the production process system to ensure proper operation.Inspects, checks and documents process production activities.Ensures safety, quality of workmanship, efficiency and timeliness when performing the assigned work.Uses and maintains equipment in good working order and reports any abnormalities in a timely fashion.Maintains working areas organized and clean to ensure work efficiency and safety.Follows materials handling practices appropriate with safety standards, while maintaining minimum wastage.Reports security and/or health and safety infractions or potential infractions in a timely manner and to the appropriate contacts.Participate in inventory cycle count programs and accurate record results.May participate in shipping and receiving activities as necessary.May be responsible for snow shoveling/removal.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications (Education/Training, Experience And Certifications)High School completion or equivalent (GED)Prior experience as a chemical operator/technician preferredKnowledge Skills And Abilities (Those Necessary To Perform The Job Competently)Ability to work in a team environmentAttention to detailPerform duties with the highest regard for safety and qualityAbility to understand and follow site protocols, policies and proceduresBasic computer skills including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel preferredAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesProblem-solving skills
