Production Packaging Operator - (Wed to Fri)Kelly is hiring for a Production Packaging Operator for a 12-month contract role at Wilmington, IL 60481 with our prestigious client.Job Title: Production Packaging Operator Primary Location: Wilmington, IL -month contract – On-site role Wednesday – Friday – Day Shift 6AM- 6PM Pay rate: $17-19/hr. Overtime availableResponsibilities:Package finished cans or products safely and efficiently according to production standards and work instructionsOperate and monitor packaging equipment, including conveyors, labeling systems, sealing equipment, and palletizing systemsInspect products and packaging materials for quality defects and remove non-conforming items from the lineEnsure accurate labeling, coding, and packaging configuration for all finished goodsMaintain proper supply of packaging materials (cartons, trays, tape, labels, etc.) to avoid downtimePerform basic machine adjustments or notify maintenance of equipment issues to keep lines running efficientlyFollow all site safety policies, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards at all timesMaintain clean and organized work areas to support safe and efficient operationsRecord production counts, packaging data, and downtime as requiredAssist with loading, palletizing, and preparing finished goods for shipmentWork collaboratively with operators, leads, and supervisors to meet production targets and schedulesSupport continuous improvement and efficiency efforts within the packaging areaIf you feel this role interests you, feel free to apply or refer someone who would be a good fit.
