Production PlannerAustin, TXAllen Control Systems (ACS) is a cutting-edge defense startup, founded by two former Navy electrical engineers with a proven track record in robotics and software. We are developing a small, autonomous gun turret that employs advanced computer vision and control systems to precisely target and neutralize small drones and loitering munitions. Backed by our founders' successful exits from two previous ventures acquired for a combined $180M in 2022, we are committed to ensuring that the groundbreaking technologies we develop will have a real-world impact.As a Production Planner, you will manage the flow of all materials and components through the business. You will ensure the production team has work in their queue, the correct priorities, and a clear path to build without blockers. This role requires a strong team player who can work across functional groups to achieve company-wide goals in a rapid-growth environment.What You'll Do:Create production plans that translate sales/forecasts to a production plan that the procurement team can execute against.Release work orders to Production and kit requests to Inventory.Create visibility of material positions using line-of-balance, shortage, and clear-to-build reports.Support prioritization and expedite subassemblies to support integration timelines.Update demand to accommodate engineering change orders and communicate changes to procurementWhat You'll Need:Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or a relevant field.2+ years of experience in production planning or manufacturing supportProficiency in MRP and ERP systems, as well as MS Office (Excel), basic math, and statistics.Proven ability to conduct clear-to-build reviews and expedite materials through production.Experience in aerospace, automotive, or other disruptive manufacturing industries.Experience with AS9100 or US export controls is a plus.What We Offer:Competitive salaryACS Equity PackageHealth, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time OffAllen Control Systems is an Equal Opportunity Employer, providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment.
