What You'll Do as a Production Planner:
Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements
Analyze labor loading, production capacity, and resource availability to optimize operations
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address changing priorities and demand
Coordinate customer order status updates and expedite orders when necessary
Lead planning and new product introduction (NPI) meetings with cross-functional teams
Support quality inspections and documentation of production results as needed
Provide backup support for shipping, logistics coordination, and shipment documentation
What You Need to Bring to the Production Planner Role:
High school diploma or equivalent required
2–4 years of planning, scheduling, production control, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain experience
Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Outlook
Ability to interpret production data and make sound scheduling decisions
Manufacturing or production environment experience preferred
Ability to work in both office and manufacturing settings and comply with all safety requirements
