Production PlannerDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Production Planner for a fabrication/manufacturing company in Gibbon, MN. In this role, you’ll coordinate production schedules, optimize workflow, and ensure on-time completion of work orders in a fast-paced shop environment. Read below for more information!Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules for fabrication operationsReview work orders and material availability to prioritize production tasksUtilize ERP systems (JobBOSS preferred) to manage and track jobs and production statusMonitor production progress and resolve delays, bottlenecks, or capacity constraintsCoordinate with inventory and shop floor teams to ensure materials meet production timelinesCommunicate schedule updates with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, and customer serviceAnalyze production data to improve scheduling accuracy, lead times, and throughput2–5+ years of production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing coordination experienceExperience using ERP systems for production planning (JobBOSS preferred)Strong understanding of fabrication processes (cutting, welding, machining, assembly, etc.)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applicationsStrong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skillsExcellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
