Job description
Production PlannerThe Production Planner is responsible for the daily planning, follow-up, and optimization of the demand required to support the production deliverables. Main responsibilities will include:Coordination and optimization of production workflow for one or multiple production areasAnalyze production factors such as capacity, cycle time, and urgencies to ensure production plan achievementDetermining manpower and equipment to cover production demandDeveloping standardized, custom reports as well as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Support the team in capacity modeling and production analysisSupport additional ad hoc projects, initiatives, and business needs as they ariseQualifications:Bachelor's degree with 3-year experience or equivalentOrganized, results-driven with great problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and computer skills are very useful for the roleWorking knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office and ERP systemsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to forge ties and build relations between colleaguesRigor and attention to detailAdvanced proficiency with MS Office SuiteMust be bilingual (French and English) (written, read, and spoken)Job Demands:Work is performed in a shop environment and requires the ability to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance. Must be able to bend, stoop, climb to reach materials, and work in a noisy environment.
