We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our dynamic team in Rockaway, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining quality standards.DutiesMaterial planning, reservation of stock and incoming material to customer orders for processing thru our ERP system.Optimization of on hand inventory as outlined in our process and procedures.Communicate issues with material availability to the sales team along with issues in meeting requested ship dates.Work with other warehouse locations on opportunities for better inventory utilization and use of capacities.QualificationsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.High school diploma/GED required2+ years' experience in shipping and receivingProficiency in Microsoft Office.Able to read a tape measureGood math skills including conversion of fractions to decimalsStrong computer skills including Excel, Word Power Point and Microsoft officeStrong time management, organizational, problem solving and communication skillsFlexible to changes in work schedule start and stop time to support business conditionsOpen to cross training outside of core responsibilities to support the overall operationExperience in with Mechanical Drawing, CAD or Drafting & Layout is a plusJoin us as we strive for excellence in our production processes, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' needs!Job Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programTuition reimbursementVision insurance
