Job description

Job DescriptionPrimary Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain production schedule for the manufacturing of tunable optical filter chipsMonitor production progress and adjust production schedules to address priority changes, delays, and equipment downtimeManage wafer and chip inventory, conduct physical counts, and maintain accurate records of productsCoordinate material requirements and procurements to ensure adequate production resourcesInspect and prepare products for shipping to customersEducationBS in industrial engineering, supply chain management, business administration, or a related fieldExperience & Skills2+ years of experience in production planning or similar roleExperience with ERP/MRP systems such as Oracle and SAPProficiency in MS Excel or other data analysis toolsExcellent organizational skillsAbility to multitask, prioritize, and manage production in a fast-paced environmentStrong ability to coordinate with team members and ensure production efficiency and optimal resource utilizationWorking ConditionsThis position is on-siteMay require occasional off-site meetings or travelRegular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessaryInteraction with team members and external contacts is a regular part of the jobMay require occasional overtime and flexibility in work hours to accommodate the executive's needsPhysical RequirementsSitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.Safety RequirementsAll employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
