Job description
General Labor/RackingExpress Employment Professionals – St. Paul, MN is assisting a small manufacturing company to fill two General labor/Racking positions on their team. Position is located in the East metro.Pay: $20.45 /hour DOESchedule: 2nd Shift Monday – Friday (2:30 PM - 11:00PM)Essential Duties:Examine products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.Visually examine products at various stages of production, including before packaging, during processing, and after completion.Look for defects such as stains, blisters, missing plate, etc., as per the standard list of defects from QC to ensure consistency.Document the results of inspections, including pass/fail grades and the number of products inspected.Use a variety of tools and equipment to perform inspections.Rack parts that will be needed in the plating process.Help with masking parts when necessary.Perform in-process inspections as a follow up to rework processes and corrective actions.Support the implementation of corrective and preventative actions.Contribute ideas/solutions to Quality manual, quality criteria, operator work instructions and forms.Assist root cause problem solving and implementation when necessaryParticipate in and/or support projects as requested by managementMay work non-routine hours as required to maintain production scheduleJob Requirements:Must have experience working in a manufacturing companyGood visual acuityHigh School Diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in manufacturing or quality inspection role preferred but not required.Average or better math skillsAbility to stand and walk for long periodsGood color perception and manual dexterityAbility to work in an orderly, logical manner with close attention to detail.Proficiency in English for verbal and written communication.Workplace Demands and Environment:Prolonged periods of sitting or standingWill be exposed to manufacturing environment that has fumes, dust, gaseous, noisy, and weather exposures.Walking, squatting, lifting, pushing and pulling carts, reaching, climbing, and bending may all be requiredEmployee must be able to pass a vision exam before employment and annuallyExpress Employment Professionals provides one of the most comprehensive benefits packages in the industry while working on our payroll.Weekly PayPay options- direct deposit, paper check, Pay cards.Referral BonusesExpress Learn: This free opportunity allows you to expand your skills to advance your career.Holiday PayMedical BenefitsVisionDentalShort Term DisabilityTerm Life401KSick and Safe Time
