Production/Repair OperatorVisium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Production/Repair Operator position. This position is a contract opportunity which is expected to be on-site in Orlando, FL for a duration of 6+ months.The Production/Repair Operator is responsible for advanced fabrication, assembly, inspection, troubleshooting, and testing of cable & harness assemblies, electromechanical subassemblies, placards, and related components for In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity products. This role supports schedule, design, quality, and FAA requirements with elevated proficiency and reduced supervision.Essential Functions/Key Areas of ResponsibilityReads, interprets, and applies engineering drawings, technical specifications, schematics, and work instructions with minimal supervision.Fabricates, inspects, and tests cable & harness assemblies, including more complex multi-branch configurations.Performs intermediate troubleshooting of production issues, wiring errors, incorrect terminations, continuity faults, and assembly defects.Programs and inspects labels/placards using labeling equipment; performs basic maintenance on machines.Performs and documents preventative maintenance and calibration checks on assigned tools and equipment.Supports continuous improvement activities, including 5S, quality containment, and root cause identification.Mentors Level 1 assemblers on basic tasks and correct workmanship practices.Performs additional duties such as material handling, part kitting, and supporting Florida locations using company vehicles.Performs advanced testing using HIPOT, continuity, multi-meters, VSWR testing, torque tools, automated test equipment, and documentation systems.
