Production Specialist 1Want to work and play in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains? We are seeking passionate, driven, curious people who not only love the outdoors but strive to bring the same passion and curiosity into their work with them every day.Summary:A Production Specialist uses hand tools and machines to assemble a variety of products following standardized methods. He/She must also be able to achieve the daily production goals, meet quality standards and follow safety procedures.Production Specialist 1 works in a variety of positions in work cells and must have supervision when doing changeovers and setups.Primary Responsibilities (essential functions):Follow all Safety rules on production floorAble to do repetitive motion with hands to accomplish tasks for 8-10 hour shiftStand or Sit for 8-10 hour shiftAble to load and push buttons on a machine to perform a tasksAble to work with a team of individuals to accomplish assembly of productsAble to work around heated equipmentSecondary Responsibilities (marginal functions):Assist in performing changes on given machinesAssist in shop floor clean upAssist in material restockingMinimum Requirements:Must be able to sit or stand for 8-10 hour per dayMust be able to perform repetitive motion using arms, hands, and wrists.Must be able to lift 10lbs repeatablySkills:Good hand eye coordinationAttention to detailWorking Conditions:8-10 hours sitting, standing, and/or movingSafety Glasses RequiredThis is intended to describe the general nature and level of work done by people assigned to this job.
