We're seeking a Production Specialist who's ready to take on the challenge of leading our production floor and driving results.Job Summary: As a Production Specialist, you'll manage daily operations on the production floor. You'll oversee a team of operators and technicians, ensuring that safety, quality, and productivity targets are met. Your hands-on leadership will keep things running smoothly — from scheduling and training to troubleshooting and process improvement.Supervise and coordinate the activities of production personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to schedulesMonitor production output and quality, making adjustments as needed to meet standards and deadlinesEnforce safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environmentTrain new employees and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team membersTroubleshoot equipment and process issues, escalating complex problems to maintenance or engineering as neededTrack attendance, approve timecards, and participate in performance reviewsLead daily shift meetings, communicate goals, and report on key metricsIdentify opportunities for process improvement and contribute ideas for greater efficiencyEnsure all documentation is accurate and up to date (logs, reports, etc.)QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field a plus.3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership roleStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality control standardsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lead, motivate, and coach a diverse teamProblem-solving mindset and ability to make quick decisions under pressureProficiency with basic computer applications (MS Office, ERP systems)
