Production SupervisorChromalloy is a global engineering & solutions company. We are a leading provider of aftermarket parts, repairs, and solutions that safely & reliably extend the life of aircraft engines and gas turbines. We develop, manufacture and repair critical turbine components for a range of engine platforms. Our solutions support the engines running the aerospace, energy and defense industries around the world.We're looking for a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing production teams and support daily execution across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance. This role provides leadership, direction, and coaching to ensure production goals are met while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, customer service, operational excellence, and employee development.The successful candidate will be responsible for assigning and executing production schedules, developing employees, improving processes, and ensuring customer commitments are met, while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.At Chromalloy, your work directly supports aviation safety and reliability. Our teams repair and manufacture critical aerospace components used across the global aviation industry. As a people leader, you'll play a key role in developing talent, improving processes, and delivering results that help keep aircraft flying safely around the world.Location: On-Site, Orangeburg, NYShift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday 6:30a-4:00pWhat You'll Be Doing:Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity goalsAssign, prioritize, and execute daily and weekly production schedulesCoordinate with Production Control, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and other departments to meet customer commitmentsEnsure materials, supplies, equipment, and staffing are available to support production plansInterpret specifications, blueprints, routing instructions, and job orders for employeesEnsure compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and company requirementsMaintain and improve 5S, housekeeping, and workplace organization standardsTrain, coach, mentor, and develop employees to build capability and performanceManage employee performance, attendance, accountability, and developmentPartner with Human Resources on employee relations, corrective actions, and talent developmentAnalyze production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actionsDrive Lean, continuous improvement, and productivity initiativesMonitor production metrics and communicate performance results to leadershipMaintain accurate production, labor, and operational recordsSupport customer requirements, audits, and delivery commitmentsParticipate in hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning activitiesWhat We're Looking For:Associate's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience3+ years of manufacturing experience; leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience preferredStrong understanding of manufacturing operations and shop floor processesExperience leading teams in a fast-paced production environmentAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishStrong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skillsExcellent problem-solving and organizational abilitiesStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applicationsSelf-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountabilityAbility to balance employee development with operational resultsNice to Have:Bachelor's degreeAerospace, repair station, machining, welding, or inspection experienceLean Manufacturing, MOS, 5S, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement experienceSix Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certificationA&P License or ability to obtain a Repairman Certificate, if required by site operationsExperience with production scheduling, workforce planning, and manufacturing metricsLeadership Expectations and Values:Model the Way – Leads with integrity and accountability, holding themselves to the same standards expected of others and consistently following through on commitments.Inspire a Shared Vision – Connects team efforts to a clear, meaningful purpose while balancing strategic priorities with disciplined day-to-day execution.Challenge the Process – Brings curiosity and a drive for continuous improvement, questioning assumptions and championing innovation even in complex environments.Enable Others to Act – Builds strong, inclusive partnerships that share ownership, develop others, and value diverse perspectives.Encourage the Heart – Recognizes contributions genuinely and celebrates shared values to build a culture of appreciation, respect, and accountability.This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
