Production Supervisor - 2nd ShiftEaton's Power Components Division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift to support the rapidly growing demand for its electrical solutions in Beaver, PA. Shift hours are Monday-Friday, 3pm-12am. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What You'll Do:Your responsibility will be to foster a safety-first environment and actively promote practices that prevent incidents. You'll also implement safety programs to minimize workplace accidents.You'll oversee the allocation of manpower within your assigned area, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintaining 5S+ standards while meeting or exceeding productivity expectations.Address safety concerns promptly and take corrective actions as needed. Report process and equipment problems promptly and collaborate with relevant personnel for assistance.As part of your role, you'll train, upgrade, and evaluate operators' skills. Providing ongoing coaching and development to enhance performance is essential, and regular reviews of operator performance are necessary.Maintain positive employee relations and adhere to labor contract provisions. When required, apply fair and judicious disciplinary measures.Keep accurate records of employee attendance, performance, and departmental activities. Upkeep employee timecards for accurate and prompt payroll.Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or operations environment OR an Associate's degree from an accredited institution with at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or operations environment.Minimum 1 year of supervisor/management experience.Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing OR operations environment.At least 1 year as a leader of people in a union environment.Position Success Criteria:Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and implement change activities.Working knowledge of current manufacturing, engineering, materials management and quality assurance methods and practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate employees.Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships at all levels in the organization.Experience in Lean Manufacturing and 5S.Lean/Six Sigma knowledge and understanding.
