Production SupervisorOur client, an established manufacturing organization, is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a department on the plant floor. This role is ideal for a working leader who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, developing a team, and driving results across safety, quality, and production. It's a strong opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow their leadership career within a stable, process-driven organization.What We Offer:A hands-on leadership role with direct ownership of a department's performanceThe opportunity to develop and mentor a production teamExposure to lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies in a real-world manufacturing settingA collaborative environment with clear expectations and support from operations leadershipThe chance to build skills in quality systems, safety leadership, and process improvementPotential for occasional exposure to broader operations through cross-plant supportIf You Have:At least two years of manufacturing experience (preferred)At least two years of supervisory experience (preferred)Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and/or Six SigmaExposure to quality system methodologies such as ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, and/or AS9100Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with team members and management; bilingual Spanish/English is a plusSolid computer literacy, including MS Office and keyboarding skillsMechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools, equipment, and hands-on troubleshootingThe ability to stand, move, and perform hands-on work throughout a manufacturing floor for up to 12 hours per day, including routine lifting up to 50 lbs.A flexible, resilient mindset able to adapt to changing, fast-paced conditionsYou Will Be:Performing production tasks and learning all jobs within the assigned departmentManaging team members and activities to consistently meet production objectivesMeasuring and reporting on the quantity, quality, and timeliness of departmental outputLeading daily production, training, problem-solving, quality, and safety meetingsSetting and communicating performance expectations, recognizing strong performance, and correcting deficienciesTraining team members to perform their jobs efficiently and safelyCoordinating with maintenance to ensure preventive maintenance is completed on scheduleServing as the department's safety leader, including hazard inspections and incident root cause analysisEnforcing safety policies and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulationsLeading the application of lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies to improve quality and efficiencyMaintaining accurate, professional production records and documentation
