Production Supervisor
Shift Options: 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM), 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM), or 3rd Shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM), Monday through Friday
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations and oversee a team of production employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe workplace, achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, and developing employees while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Supervise daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
Manage staffing, scheduling, workflow, and labor utilization to support operational requirements.
Monitor production metrics and prepare daily production reports.
Coach, mentor, and develop employees through training, performance management, and ongoing feedback.
Identify and resolve production issues while minimizing downtime and maintaining efficiency.
Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehousing, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
Maintain employee engagement and accountability while fostering a positive team environment.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate degree in Supervision, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
2-4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production setting.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Google Workspace.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
