Production SupervisorAs Production Supervisor, you will partner with the Production Manager in providing direction and oversight to the production team members.Responsibilities include:Communicate operating targets and progress against standards and expectations.Assist with hiring, training and coaching.Motivate the team regularly and ensure efficient operations by troubleshooting bottlenecks and working side by side with team members through the processes.Utilize all employees efficiently and effectively to achieve production quotasRotate and cross train employees in order that they may be able to do several jobs as necessaryMonitor performance through the use of employee attainment recordkeepingHigh energy level, strong leadership skills, independent thinkerMaintain clean work environmentRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Data Driven – tracks and evaluates employee performanceIntegrity – maintains high standards in all activitiesCollaboration – able to work with and through othersInterpersonal / Extrovert – comfortable interacting with customers and hourly employeesEfficient – produces significant results with minimized effortFollow-through – meets commitmentsCommunication – strong verbal and writing skillsWhy City Thrift?No late nights- we wrap up before 4 pm each day!Consistent Tuesday- Saturday scheduleGenerous 30% shopping discount!Paid Time Off, Health insurance and more!Education, Experience, Training Required:High School Diploma or GED preferred2 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably with a big box chain.Consumer retail or thrift businesses preferred2 years or more of managing teams through goal setting, productivity measurements and achieving targeted results
