Job description
Production SupervisorExpress Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for a growing manufacturing company in Knoxville, AR. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a manufacturing background, and the ability to lead production teams while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.Pay:Competitive pay based on experienceJob Duties:Supervise daily production operations and manufacturing personnel.Lead, train, and motivate employees to meet production goals.Schedule and assign work to maximize productivity and efficiency.Monitor workflow and ensure projects are completed on time.Read and interpret blueprints, production drawings, and work orders.Coordinate with fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly departments.Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.Identify and resolve production issues while minimizing downtime.Enforce company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.Monitor inventory, materials, and equipment needed for production.Conduct employee coaching, training, and performance evaluations.Maintain production records and communicate progress with management.Qualifications:Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment required.Experience in fabrication, welding, machining, or industrial manufacturing required.Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices is a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to safety and quality.Must meet all prescreening requirements.
