Join our vision of becoming the world's leading provider of energy solutions for e-mobility.The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing small work teams in a fast paced, high volume, manufacturing environment. The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring team safety; building teams and training / allocating manpower; driving and implementing continuous improvement solutions to improve product quality and reach throughput and cost targets; and ensuring team morale. This position reports to the Line Lead.Roles & Responsibilities:Ensure the production plan is met, analyzes issues with other roles, drives and implement continuous improvement activities and sustainability of solutions inside the zoneEnsure a safe workplace, lead the team to improve safety in the area and enforces the use of mandated safety tools and proceduresUnderstand losses during the shiftProactively analyze quality KPIs related to the area, prioritize quality issues and properly guides team leadsEnsure the right allocation of the people on the line, manage absenteeism, train, and build teamsPossess knowledge of the broader manufacturing organization and have the ability to mobilize support groups and resources to lead and assist in problem solving activitiesPerform other position related duties as assignedQualifications:Basic:Minimum Age: 18 years oldHigh School DiplomaMust be eligible to work in the United StatesWhile travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as requiredMust have good working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with all levels of the organizationExcellent organization skills and ability to multi-taskPreferred:Bachelor's degree in a technical field2+ years' experience in supervision in a high-volume environmentDemonstrated ability to coach/mentor/develop team membersPrevious experience working in a union environmentExperience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturingWorking Conditions:Ability to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of timeAbility to work around the potential exposure to dust and chemicalsAbility to wear appropriate PPE as deemed essential for the job functionAbility to lift up to 30 poundsSTARPLUS ENERGY, LLC promotes an equal employment opportunity workplace which includes reasonable accommodations of other qualified disabled applications and employees.
