Job description
Production SupervisorWe're looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and keeps operations safe, smooth, and efficient.This is a floor-first leadership role—not a desk job. If you enjoy being where the work happens, solving problems in real time, coaching team members, and driving continuous improvement, this role is for you.You'll lead production teams across shifts to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals. You'll train, direct, and motivate employees while reinforcing company standards and building accountability, teamwork, and high performance.You'll drive production goals, improve plant efficiency, and ensure clear communication of expectations and results while maintaining a safe, compliant, high-quality production environment.What You'll DoEnsure production departments operate at maximum efficiencySupervise daily production activities including schedules, priorities, productivity, quality, safety, and KPIsEnsure timely and accurate food production including setup, staging, changeovers, allergen controls, and sanitationMonitor KPIs, identify root causes, and implement corrective actionsCoach, train, and develop team members while removing operational barriersManage staffing activities including hiring support, scheduling, assignments, performance reviews, and time approvalsCoordinate with other departments and manage team communicationCoach and discipline employees as neededProvide supervision, guidance, and development to employeesBuild accountability, trust, and respect across teamsReinforce processes, systems, and standardsManage conflict and delegate work to team leadsRespond to unplanned downtime and restore safe operationsEnsure equipment is properly handled and maintainedEnsure materials and equipment availability for production schedulesSupport and execute operational improvement projectsWhat You Bring2–3 years of supervisory experience in fast-paced manufacturing or food production (chilled food preferred)Education in culinary arts, food safety, or management preferredHACCP, ServSafe, or CCP certification a plusBilingual English and Spanish requiredStrong problem-solving and root cause analysis skillsAbility to lead under pressure in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to motivate and develop teamsFlexible schedule availability, including weekendsIntermediate computer skills (Email, Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to work in cold, damp environments and remain physically active throughout shiftsWorking ConditionsFood manufacturing facility with cold, wet, and damp environmentsPPE required and providedPhysically active role requiring prolonged standing and walkingFrequent bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and other physical movementMay lift up to 50 lbs occasionallyRequires full mobility and continuous presence on the production floorRegular communication and coordination with production teams throughout shiftsBase Pay:$29.00 USD/hourlyRevolution Foods provides reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities in accordance with the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other applicable laws.
