Production SupervisorOur client, an established manufacturer and Top Employer in the area is seeking a Production Supervisor 1st shift to join their team. As a Production Supervisor 1st shift, you will be part of the Value Stream Department, leading the Value Stream associates. The ideal candidate will have some supervisory experience, has Lean teams experience and is eager to learn and grow which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Production SupervisorLocation: McCook, NEPay Range: $75k -$80k/yr + 10% production bonus. Relocation assistance available! Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00AM -3:00PMWhat's the Job?Leads the plant value stream(s) in daily operations and continuous improvements, which include but are not limited to: supply chain, production control, manufacturing priorities and coordination between all shifts in the value stream.Assist the Value Stream Manager to create continuous product flow, utilize pull systems and to level the workload.Create the basis for continuous improvement and employee empowerment by ensuring that standardized work and processes are followed.Maintain a positive team atmosphere in the Value Stream(s); hold regular team meetings and assign team member tasks and coordinate support activities from departments outside of the team.Provide effective cross training for Value Stream associates and backups from other value streams to assure the continuous smooth running of the value stream.What's Needed?Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.3+ years' management or supervisory experience.Demonstrated teamwork and teambuilding skills.Able to create and maintain enthusiasm for challenges and serve as model by promoting safety, new ideas and positive change.Good written and verbal communication skills.Experience with LEAN teams or leading LEAN teams is preferred.What's in it for me?Direct Hire OpportunityCompetitive Salary: $75k -$80k/yr + annual bonus + Excellent relocation assistance package!Leadership growth opportunitiesFull Company Benefit PackageStrong team-oriented culture with cross-functional collaborationStable role within a well-established manufacturing environment
