Production SupervisorDCX-CHOL Enterprises Inc. is a leading source for high performance interconnect products. We design, engineer, and produce cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, conduit assemblies, custom connectors, wire enclosures and much more!We are looking for dependable, fast paced, hard-working individuals with experience as a Production Supervisor with the following qualifications and experience:The Production Supervisor will work towards creating an efficient workforce. Providing supervision and on the job training. This role will also require continuous communication and collaboration with the Production Manager and Leads to ensure that multiple projects are being worked simultaneously, promote a sense of urgency, identify and address problems, ensure process adherence. IPC-620 and J-STD-001 experience a MUST. Certification in either a PLUS. Supervising work in accordance with military, aerospace and or other assembly standards using visual aids and verbal written instructions.Schedule/Compensation:Monday through Thursday (4-Day, 40-Hour Workweek) 6:00AM - 4:30PM Possible OT on Friday and/or Saturday as production demands require Salary; Full-Time $50K to $60K/Annually (Depending on Experience)Responsibilities & Duties:Ensure production is cost effective and personnel are focused on tight process control and continuous improvementReview, amend, and help generate standard operating procedures where neededCoordinate, set up and implement standard operating procedures for all production operationsAdhere to prescribed procedures to ensure first pass quality meets or exceeds planned goalsGain and maintain a full understanding of internal and external customer requirementsReview the performance of the production employeesTrack production employee's individual skill sets and competenciesConduct training that develops skills and cross-trains each employeeOptimize resource utilization by recommending or implementing process improvementsStudy production schedules and estimate manpower requirements for completion of job assignmentsEstablish or adjust work procedures to meet new challenges with successful and repeatable resultsSuggest changes in working conditions to increase efficiency of work crewRecommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of productsAnalyze and resolve work task problems and assist employees in solving those problemsAbility to read and interpret documents such as drawings, schematics, operating instructions and/or procedure manuals.Must be able to understand quality standards, methods, and reporting as requiredStrong ability to excel under pressure in a rewarding and demanding environmentEnsure product quality by monitoring output and verifying alignment and functionality of each unit.Abide by DCX-CHOL Enterprises policies, training, and quality and safety practices.Competent in the daily tasks to meet their job duties and other duties as assigned.Qualifications & Skills:15+ years of manufacturing experience in assembly and equipment processes (molding, braiding, soldering, machining)5+ years of Supervisory experience w/ 50+ personnel5+ years of Lead experienceAbility to manage interpersonal issues of employeesManage and schedule overtime production as needed.General computer and MS Office for reportingAbility to work effectively in a team environment and adhere to safety protocolsWork Environment:This job operates in a manufacturing / production environment.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
