Manufacturing Production SupervisorSilgan Closures, a global leader in sustainable packaging, is hiring a Manufacturing Production Supervisor in Richmond, IN to support and manage employees at our fast-paced manufacturing facility. If you have experience as a production supervisor, manufacturing supervisor, or shift supervisor, this is your chance to grow your career with an industry leader.As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for understanding Silgan's safety and manufacturing policies, procedures, practices, quality, product safety, and line technology to effectively serve as a leader and resource for all employees.What You will Do as a Manufacturing Production Supervisor:Supervise and support employees in the production of metal closures.Ensure product quality, food safety compliance, and a strong safety culture.Learn and apply SPC principles, SOPs, and productivity standards.Manage equipment and production flow to maximize efficiency.Develop, mentor, and assign work to employees while maintaining labor contract compliance.Foster a positive workplace and lead with effective communication.
