Production Supervisor / SchedulerLocation: Charlotte, NCSalary: $80,000–$90,000 per yearEmployment Type: Full-TimeWork Location: In PersonJob Summary: We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor / Scheduler with commercial architectural millwork experience to lead production scheduling and day-to-day manufacturing operations for a well-established manufacturer in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will be an experienced commercial architectural millwork professional who understands production from a practical standpoint and can effectively coordinate people, materials, schedules, and project priorities.Key Responsibilities:Own and maintain the plant-wide production schedule using scheduling softwareCoordinate daily production priorities with Project Management, Engineering, Purchasing, Shipping, and other departmentsMonitor the status of every project throughout the manufacturing processIdentify potential scheduling issues and proactively address them before they impact delivery datesSpend the majority of each day on the production floor monitoring workflow and production progressSupervise production work cells and support team leads in achieving daily production goalsResolve bottlenecks and reallocate resources to maintain production flowCommunicate schedule changes, production priorities, and project status to internal teamsMaintain accurate production scheduling and project status informationLead daily production meetings and communicate priorities to shop personnelIdentify opportunities to improve workflow, productivity, and on-time deliveryRequired Qualifications:3+ years of commercial architectural millwork production experiencePrevious experience leading or supervising production within a commercial architectural millwork or casework manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of commercial millwork manufacturing processesAbility to identify production bottlenecks and implement solutionsAWI technical knowledgeLean Manufacturing experienceExperience with production scheduling softwareExperience with commercial casework and cabinetryArchitectural millwork shop leadership experienceBenefits:401(k) matchingHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insurancePaid time offPotential employee profit-sharing opportunitiesIf you have commercial architectural millwork production leadership experience and are ready to take the next step in your career, apply today!
