Production SupervisorKings Command Foods has an opportunity for a Production Supervisor at our Versailles, OH facility. As our Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily activities of the assigned production process to ensure the efficient production of wholesome, high-quality products, the safety of our staff, and that employees follow established rules and procedures.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Responsible for supervising 21 or more production employees within the facilityCoordinates and supervises daily activities of the assigned production process to ensure efficient production and safetyEnsures that employees follow established rules and proceduresAdvises departments of work that need to be completedMaintain adequate crewing to meet production requirementsReports yields and other applicable product information as requiredDirect production to maintain and/or improve operating efficiencyResolve problems for the operations departmentFamiliar with production reports and daily production schedulesEnsure all products are produced to customer specifications and food safety standardsIssue discipline as neededTrain and enforce GMPsHelp plant comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and proceduresMonitor downtime and seek ways to reduce downtimeAssists with creating production reports and daily production schedulesGood communication and interpersonal skills are requiredAssist with employee development as it pertains to acquiring job skills, proper protective equipment use and care, proper company procedures and practices, etc.Provides job performance feedback and corrective instructionTeaches and demonstrates the company's commitment to safety and quality of workNote: This description is not intended to be all-inclusive. An employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization; these duties are considered marginal.Requirements:Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.Minimum of 2 years in the food industry.Must have a High School Diploma or GED.Basic computer skills.Previous experience leading/training/supervising employees.Considerable knowledge of process work requirements.Ability to communicate effectively and maintain record-keeping in English (read, write, and speak).
