Job description
Manufacturing Production ManagerResponsible for leading production teams in a fast-paced, high-volume, unionized automotive manufacturing environment. Ensure safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets are met while managing manpower, training employees, and driving continuous improvement initiatives (WCM/SIS/Lean). Coordinate daily production activities, monitor KPIs, resolve production issues, and maintain strong communication with cross-functional teams.Requirements:Automotive manufacturing experience (required) High school diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred) 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred Union and Lean/WCM experience preferred Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) Must be able to work 1st & 2nd shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a technical field 2 or more years' experience in supervision in a high-volume environment Demonstrated ability to coach/mentor/develop team members Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing Proficiency Using Microsoft tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
