Our people make us who we are, and we create incredible products and experiences that empower us to THINK OUTSIDE.This person will provide day-to-day leadership and supervision in the achievement of productivity, schedule attainment, quality and Employee Health Safety programs.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Coach and support area of responsibilityDaily communication and coordination with teams, other supervisors and departmentsDirect work assignments in accordance with the production schedule- plans and organizes activities of the production/assembly line to meet production deadlinesMonitor housekeeping (5 pillars) and correct safety issuesEnsure compliance to environmental, productivity, quality and health& safety standardsIdentify and implement continuous improvement projectsPrepare and adhere to department budgetEnforce policies and procedures and apply disciplinary action as neededPrepare and maintain production reports and records- taking corrective action when necessaryCoordinate departmental maintenance and engineering needsResponsible for inventory analysisOrder and purchase necessary equipment or materials for assembly or productionMinimum education required: Bachelor's degree in BS Mechanical or other technical engineering degree is desired or 3-5 years experience with production supervision.Minimum work experience required: 2 years of industry experience.Specialized knowledge, skills and abilities required:Outstanding leadership, influence and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to lead process improvements in a team environmentExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple operationsHigh integrityWorking conditions: Fast-paced manufacturing environment.The starting pay range for Minnesota is $66,000 to $87,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
