As a Production Supervisor, you're going to be responsible for safe and efficient day-to-day operations of designated production areas. You'll supervise group leaders and production operators, plan and prioritize daily operations to ensure operations run efficiently and according to schedule. If you are an individual who thrives on making an impact and wants the excitement of being on a team that wins, we would like to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesEnsure the safe operation of all production processes and that employees are working safely at all times.Support and comply with all requirements of ISO/QMS and SHE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.Communicate production priorities to group leaders and operators.Assign daily tasks as needed.Administrative duties and tasks such as employee management, coaching, performance reviews, overtime assignments as necessary, shift reports, batch reports, maintenance work orders, incident reports, etc.Coordinate and maintain employee training activities and ensure all training requirements are met.Validate employee competencies.Prioritize workloads requirements to meet production supply plan demands.Interact with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and outcome on a daily basis.Troubleshoot process upsets and production issues to ensure the efficient utilization of equipment, raw materials, and labor to meet production standards.Resolve problems in the production area as necessary.Required skills and experience5 years of previous experience in leadership roles in a manufacturing environment, within chemicals are preferred.Experience in a union environment is a plus.Available to work 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends on occasions.Fluent English (reading, writing and speaking) is required.QualificationsHigh School diploma required.Bachelor's degree in science or Business field preferred.We are proud to offer an international working experience with a tight-knit network of employees, making it easy to connect and learn from people all across our different functions.
