Job description

Lead the Team. Drive Production. Make an Impact.We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a team of approximately 8–15 employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment producing high-quality consumables.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, working alongside their team, solving problems, and making sure production stays on track. As the direct link between management and the production team, the Supervisor will set the tone for the department, support employee development, and ensure that safety, quality, and productivity remain top priorities.The ideal candidate is a dependable, confident leader who knows how to hold people accountable while creating a positive, hardworking team environment.What You'll DoLead, motivate, and support a team of 8–15 production employees, creating a positive and productive work environment.Serve as a role model for safety, quality, attendance, teamwork, and work ethic.Assign daily responsibilities and ensure team members have the resources and direction needed to be successful.Oversee employee training and ensure team members understand and follow established processes and procedures.Maintain strong knowledge of department processes and conduct annual reviews of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable safety, cGMP, and SOP requirements.Develop weekly production schedules and keep the team focused on meeting production goals and deadlines.Monitor production throughout the day, identify potential issues early, and take action to keep things moving.Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, quality, and productivity, and communicate recommendations to management.Monitor material inventory and submit requests for materials as needed.Provide day-to-day coaching and feedback to employees and assist management with performance evaluations, progress reports, and disciplinary matters.Communicate effectively with both employees and management, keeping everyone informed of important production, staffing, and operational issues.Step in and help solve problems when challenges arise—because successful production takes a team effort.What We're Looking ForA proven leader who can earn the respect of a production team and hold employees accountable.Strong judgment, initiative, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills and the ability to give clear direction.A dependable, hands-on approach with a strong sense of urgency.High integrity and a commitment to doing things the right way.Ability to balance people, production, safety, and quality in a busy manufacturing environment.Flexibility to work overtime during the week and Saturdays as business needs require.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum of 4 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, food/beverage processing, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or similar industry is highly desirable.Basic computer skills required.Why This Role MattersAs Production Supervisor, you'll have a direct impact on the people, processes, and products that keep the operation running.
