Job description
Production SupervisorWe are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations within a fast-paced assembly environment. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals while leading frontline employees and ensuring production targets are met. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, manufacturing experience, and a passion for continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.Supervise and develop hourly operators and team leads through coaching, training, and performance feedback.Foster a strong safety culture through audits, hazard identification, incident investigations, and corrective actions.Manage labor allocation and production schedules to meet operational demands.Ensure compliance with quality standards, manufacturing processes, and standard work procedures.Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve production issues and improve performance.Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams to address operational challenges.Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and process optimization.Monitor key performance indicators and implement actions to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.Lead daily production meetings and maintain accurate production reporting.Required QualificationsBachelor's degreeMinimum 2 years of manufacturing, production, or operations leadership experience.Experience leading frontline teams in a manufacturing environment.Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, and Visual Management.Knowledge of root cause analysis tools such as 5 Whys and Fishbone.Experience using MES systems and production tracking software.Familiarity with assembly, testing, electrical, brazing, or leak-testing processes.Proven ability to lead teams in a high-volume, variable manufacturing environment.Pay Rate: $40-$45 per hour, based on experience.
