Drive Production. Deliver Quality.Pregis is seeking an experienced Fulfillment Team Lead to join our Arlington team. In this role, you will provide leadership within the fulfillment department while ensuring printed materials are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.This position is ideal for candidates with leadership experience in printing, bindery, finishing, packaging, fulfillment, or manufacturing environments who enjoy coaching employees, driving performance, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring exceptional quality standards.At Pregis, we invest in our employees through hands-on training, leadership development, and career advancement opportunities. Many of our leaders began in production roles and worked their way into leadership positions.What You'll DoAs a Fulfillment Team Lead, you will oversee daily fulfillment operations while supporting production employees, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring customer orders are completed on time.Production LeadershipLead daily fulfillment operations across multiple production lines and machinesEnsure production schedules and customer delivery deadlines are achievedCoordinate personnel and resources to support efficient workflowMonitor staffing levels and labor utilization to maximize productivityEnsure production performance meets established KPIs and departmental goalsSupport supervisors in achieving safety, quality, and production objectivesAssist with shift planning, staffing coverage, and workload distributionQuality & Customer SatisfactionEnsure finished products meet customer specifications and company quality standardsMonitor production quality throughout all stages of fulfillment and finishing operationsVerify testing requirements and quality inspection procedures are followedConduct quality checks and address non-conformance issues promptlyCollaborate with Quality Assurance and Operations teams to resolve concernsPromote a culture of quality and accountability throughout the departmentEquipment & Technical SupportOversee setup and operation of fulfillment equipmentSupport troubleshooting and minor equipment repairs to minimize downtimeMonitor performance of drills, stitchers, vacuum tables, and other finishing equipmentCoordinate preventative maintenance activities as requiredEnsure equipment is operating safely and efficientlyAssist team members with technical issues and machine operation questionsTeam Leadership & CommunicationTrain, coach, and support employees to ensure adherence to standard operating proceduresFoster a positive and productive team environmentPromote employee accountability and engagementEffectively communicate production priorities and departmental updatesSupport smooth shift transitions through accurate communication and documentationAssist with employee development and cross-training initiativesContinuous Improvement & SafetySupport lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiativesWork with production and continuous improvement teams to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivityHelp develop and maintain standard operating proceduresEnforce all company safety policies and PPE requirementsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaConduct safety observations and reinforce safe work practicesWhat We're Looking ForPrevious leadership, team lead, supervisor, or coordinator experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience in printing, bindery, finishing, fulfillment, packaging, or related industries preferredStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to manage multiple machines, priorities, and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to effectively motivate and develop team membersStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to perform well in a fast-paced production environmentPreferred ExperienceCandidates with experience in any of the following areas are encouraged to apply:Commercial printingBindery operationsPrint finishingFulfillment operationsPackaging manufacturingProduction leadershipStitching equipmentDrilling equipmentVacuum table operationsLean manufacturingSAP or similar production management systemsKPI-driven manufacturing environmentsPhysical RequirementsFrequent standing throughout the shiftAbility to lift, push, and pull moderately heavy materialsAbility to work around moving machinery and production equipmentFrequent walking, bending, and reachingAbility to work 12-hour shiftsWork EnvironmentManufacturing and production environmentExposure to moving equipment and machineryIndoor facilityFast-paced production settingModerate to high noise levelsRequired use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Education & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED preferred3-5 years of progressive experience in a printing, bindery, fulfillment, packaging, or manufacturing environmentPrevious leadership experience strongly preferredExperience supervising production teams and managing productivity metrics is highly desirableWhy Join Pregis?Competitive payMedical, dental, and vision benefits401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysPaid training and development opportunitiesLeadership development programsCareer advancement pathwaysStable and growing manufacturing environmentSafety-focused cultureOpportunity to build a long-term career with an industry leaderDiversity and InclusionWe believe in diversity of thought and bringing together other traits and characteristics that make an individual bring a unique experience to Pregis.
