Job description
Production Team Lead – 2nd ShiftLocation: Monroe, NC Salary: $65,000 – $70,000 Shift: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PMAbout the RoleLead a production team in a fast-paced stone fabrication shop. You'll guide and motivate your crew to keep operations running smoothly and hit daily goals.Stone industry experience is a plus, but not required. If you have strong leadership skills and a willingness to learn, full training on our processes and equipment is provided.What You'll DoLead and coordinate production for cutting, polishing, edging, and fabricationAssign tasks and manage schedules for fabricators, CNC operators, polishers, and helpersMeet production goals, quality standards, and customer requirementsLearn and oversee CNC machines, bridge saws, routers, and hand tools (training provided)Coach team members on safety procedures and best practicesInspect finished workpieces for accuracy and finish qualityKeep the shop clean and efficient using 5S/lean principlesWork with project managers, the CAD team, and install coordinators to ensure jobs are readyTrack materials and inventory, and coordinate restockingReport production results, attendance issues, and concerns to managementWhat You BringProven leadership experience (team lead, supervisor, crew leader, or similar)Fluency in Spanish and English (required)Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to read work orders and production instructions (shop drawing training provided)Knowledge of workplace safety practices (OSHA a plus)Manufacturing, warehouse, or construction experience (preferred, not required)Ability to learn stone fabrication equipment and techniquesWorking ConditionsShop floor environment with exposure to dust, noise, water, and stone particlesPPE required (gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.)Standing, walking, bending, and heavy lifting throughout the shift
