Production Team Lead – 2nd ShiftHexagon Agility, a business of Hexagon Composites, is a leading global provider of clean fuel solutions for commercial vehicles and bulk gas transportation with more than $400 million of revenues. Our product offerings include (renewable) natural gas bulk distribution systems of compressed gases, lightweight Type 4 composite natural gas cylinders, and (renewable) natural gas fuel systems. These products transport clean gaseous fuels and enable vehicles to reduce emissions while lowering operating costs.Location: Lincoln, NELincoln, NE | 3:30pm - 11:30pm | $20.00/hour - $24.00 + $1.00 shift differentialWhy 2nd Shift?If you're someone who prefers working nights, this is an opportunity to take ownership of a team and make a visible impact. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who takes pride in developing others, solving problems, and helping a team succeed every day.What You'll DoAs a Production Team Lead, you'll serve as the frontline leader for your assigned production area. You'll work closely with your Production Supervisor to keep operations running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.This is a great opportunity for an experienced manufacturing employee who is ready to take the next step into leadership. Formal supervisory experience is not required. If you've been the person others turn to for help, training, problem-solving, or keeping the shift moving, we want to talk to you.Your responsibilities include:Lead by example in safety, quality, attendance, and teamwork.Coach, train, and support production team members to achieve daily goals.Foster a positive, respectful, and accountable team environment.Ensure work is performed according to Standard Work Instructions, process specifications, and quality requirements.Verify team members are properly trained before performing assigned work.Coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.Monitor production performance and quickly respond to issues that impact output.Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Materials to solve problems and improve processes.Assist with process start-up, changeovers, and production flow throughout the shift.Jump into production and operate equipment as needed to support the team and maintain workflow.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and help implement better ways of working.Complete production documentation and communicate important information to leadership.What Makes You SuccessfulSuccessful Team Leads are more than great operators—they're coaches who enjoy helping others succeed.We're looking for someone who:Leads with integrity and earns the respect of their teammates.Communicates clearly and positively.Takes ownership and solves problems without waiting to be asked.Stays calm and organized in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Is willing to coach others while continuing to learn and grow personally.Can balance hands-on production work with leadership responsibilities.Leads by serving the team rather than directing from the sidelines.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Manufacturing experience required.Demonstrated technical knowledge of the production area you'll support.Previous leadership, mentoring, or training experience is preferred.Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.Knowledge of safety practices and OSHA requirements is a plus.Why Join Hexagon Agility?At Hexagon Agility, we believe our people are our greatest competitive advantage. Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions.
