Available to use immediately upon accrual!12 Paid Holidays!Closed for a week during the winter holidays!PositionAs a composite technician you will assembles components by laying composites and materials such as pre-impregnated carbon fiber and fiberglass cloth onto molds & processes parts through molding operations.What you will do:Responsible for the hand layup of advanced composite materials on designated tooling per specific work instructions and customer specifications.Performs advance composite operations to include trimming, vacuum-bagging, basic repair, material preparation, weighing, finishing, and molding operations.Inspection of in-process and finished product using hand measurement tools and other tests procedures may be required.Record keeping of inspection results where required.Responsible for work orders and time calculations to ensure the quality of the product while providing suggestions for improvement.What you will need to be successful:Ability to comprehend and follow written specifications.Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail.Excellent hand dexterity and coordination.Ability to maintain a clean & organized environment.Effective oral and written communication skills.Working ConditionsWhile performing the typical duties of this job, employees will experience the conditions noted below.
