Guided by our values of safety, loyalty, integrity and respect, we are committed to delivering meaningful value for shareholders, customers, employees and the communities where we operate.Location: 51 Independence Drive, Devens, MA 01434Shift: 1st Shift (5 am - 1 pm) or 3rd Shift (9 pm - 5 am)Training: Training starts on dayshift regardless of what shift you are hired for.Overtime: Must be flexible to work daily and/or weekend overtime.Non Union Plant - Benefits start on Day 1 (Medical/Dental/Vision)Production Team Member:Our customers count on us to get their boxes right and delivered on time.Our Production Team members will safely perform a wide range of tasks, conducting quality checks, material set-up, machine set up and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, attendance, demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operating complex high powered machinery.What We Offer:Pay rate starting $21.76/hr, increase after 90-day probationary periodMedical, Dental and Vision Benefits Day 180 Hours of Paid Time Off11 Paid Holidays401k with company matchAnnual Reimbursement for safety shoes of up to $125Life InsuranceA career with a global packaging company where Sustainability, Safety and Inclusion are business drivers and foundational elements of the daily workHow you will impact WestRock:We will train you to operate our corrugator & converting machines to produce corrugated packagingYou will learn to perform routine maintenance on the machine & adjust the machine settings to achieve the desired dimensions and quality of the corrugated productsInspect the corrugated products for defects and take corrective actions as neededCommunicate with team members and supervisors to ensure production goals are met safely with quality productsFollow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environmentKeep your work area clean and organizedAssist with other tasks as needed, such as loading and unloading materials or operating other machinery & mentoring new team membersWhat you need to succeed:A safety mindsetExperience with high-speed, high-volume workAbility to read and understand basic EnglishPhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.Our facility is not climate controlled.Attention to detail, able to read a tape measure & ability to identify product defectsDesire to work in a team environmentWillingness to work required OT including Saturdays.
